Descendants of Joseph Sharp                                Generation 2 2. WILLIAM W.2 SHARP(JOSEPH 1) was born 1842/3 TN, buried in     Sharp Cemetery, and also was the one who donated the land for Sharp Place Cemetery near Jamestown, Fentress, TN. He married PAMELA JANE DELK b. April 20, 1853; she died April 01, 1911, daughter of James Delk and Matilda Stewart. (Note: I am not 100% sure about Pamela Jane Delk being the wife of William W. Sharp. This is because my grandmother tells me she thought his wife was an ASBERRY. I have come to a brick wall in trying to determine this for sure. I am still researching.) SHARP: He and his family lived near Pall Mall,                       Fentress Co. TN. He was a Confederate soldier, lived to be over 100 yrs old, and had a long, white beard in his old age.        Children of WILLIAM W. SHARP after all the other kids were gone and Jane died.He had some type of speech impediment, and would stay with Fanny and Charlie Doss for a while, then stay with another family member for a while, going back and forth. He earned his keep, by helping out around the households, doing chores, holding babies while mothers cooked, etc. ***Also, I have a picture of John Maynard's grave at Sharp cemetery. The birthdate says 1888, but all the census' says 1879. I have a picture of this whole family, minus William, somewhere around the 1890's. The picture gives a better idea of childrens' ages. 3. ISHAM ROLAND2 SHARP (JOSEPH 1) b. 1844/5 . Mar. LEANDER SEXTON on 14 OCT 1870 in Scott Co. TN. She was born 02 JULY 1852 in Scott Co. TN, and is the daughter of JAMES SEXTON and SARAH MCPETERS.          Children of ISHAM ROLAND SHARP and LEANDER SEXTON are:              HELEN 3 SHARP  b.1872         6.  JAMES WILLIAM SHARP  b.1873 Campbell Co., TN  died 1965 Bell Co., KY              SARAH SHARP  b.1876              JOSEPH SHARP  b.1878
